Our main instructor is an experienced Petrophysicist and  Consultant with over twenty years experience in the upstream and downstream oil business. He is experienced both as an Operational Petrophysicist and as a Studies Petrophysicist.  He holds a Masters degree in petroleum engineering from University of Calgary and is a professional engineer in the Alberta province. He has performed detailed petrophysical analysis in Alberta and internationally in West Africa. He is experienced in the petrophysical analysis of clastics, carbonates and unconventional shale gas and tar sand reservoirs. Previous analytical petrophysical experience has been in Shell and ConocoPhillips. He has also had a stint of working in service sector as an Open Hole Wireline Engineer at Baker Hughes and as a MWD Supervisor in Weatherford.
